Frequently Asked Questions
Have questions about our services or pilates in general? Check out our FAQ section below. Accordion or Expandable Text for FAQs:
What is Pilates, and how does it benefit me?
Pilates is a low-impact exercise method that focuses on strengthening muscles while improving postural alignment and flexibility. It helps with core strength, balance, and overall body awareness, making it ideal for people of all fitness levels.
Do I need to have prior experience with Pilates to join your classes?
No! Our classes cater to all levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners. We offer modifications to ensure that everyone can participate and progress at their own pace.
What should I wear to a Pilates class?
We recommend wearing comfortable, form-fitting clothing that allows freedom of movement. Leggings or yoga pants and a fitted top are great choices. Avoid loose clothing that may interfere with your movements.
Do you offer private sessions or only group classes?
Yes, we offer both private one-on-one sessions and group classes. Private sessions are ideal if you’re new to Pilates, recovering from an injury, or prefer more personalized attention.
Is Pilates suitable for people with injuries or special conditions?
Pilates can be adapted for various physical conditions and is often recommended for rehabilitation. Our instructors are trained to modify exercises to suit individual needs. Please consult with your doctor and inform our instructors about any injuries or conditions before starting.
Do you have a cancellation or no show policy.
Flo Studio has a 12-hour cancellation policy.
This means that if you cancel a pre-booked class prior to 12 hours before the class start time, the class is returned to your pass. No shows or cancellations made within 12 hours of the class start time will result in the forfeit of that class.
